OUR STORY
Nutritious, delicious products
Botny (formerly known as Root to Shoot) began as a fun hobby of caring for and harvesting vegetables. Microgreens had been around for decades prior to Botny's inception in 2021, but not much was being offered in the small town of Sheridan, WY. There are local farmers and ranchers, but microgreens are a niche market. Based off those two factors, hobby and location, Botny began! The goal in mind is to provide fresh, year-round microgreens for the community that can be found in various culinary spots, farmers markets, and grocery stores.
At the beginning of 2025, we at Botny decided to increase our product offerings beyond microgreens. Realizing a need to fill the gap in fresh produce supply in the areas of the US that experience harsh seasonality, we have set off on a new mission. Our mission to bridge the gap between the outdoor growing season to meet an ever rising demand with various crops consumers always enjoy, including lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, and cucumbers. As we begin our first phase of expansion, be on the lookout for new products as we continue to bring the highest-quality produce to customers in the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond.
